long weekend extended.
Traffic was simply not moving and alternative routes were shut down. Basically, we're snowed in and have to stay another night in Tahoe. Boo!!!!! Had any of us had the foresight that we'd be snowed in, we could have stayed at the cabin and hit the powdery slopes at Heavenly (only 2 mins away driving distance) today! Too bad, so sad =( ...
On brighter notes, my gambling-loving pals are stoked that they get to spend MORE time in casinos, despite losing their shirts in one last night and the suppressed miser in me is very happy that my friend found us a double room with whirlpool for $43/night @montbleu!
